During this 14-day Vietnam with kids tour you will get a great impression of this multifaceted country. Visit the cities of Hanoi, Hue, Hoi An and Ho Chi Minh. Go on an overnight cruise in Halong Bay and visit the Mekong Delta by boat, going past the typical floating markets. At the end of the trip there is still a few days off to relax at the Mui Ne beach before returning to the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City, ready for your flight back home.

Route: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Hue – Hoi An – Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta – Mui Ne – Ho Chi Minh
Day 1 – Arrive in Hanoi
Chao Ban! Welcome to Hanoi! You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day exploring Hanoi at your own pace, or relax in the hotel.
Day 2 – Hanoi to Halong Bay, welcome aboard
Travel across the countryside today to the port of Halong city, and step aboard your home for the next day. You’ll drop anchor in Bai Tu Long Bay and visit a large cave where you have an amazing view of Halong Bay. You can take a kayak or go swimming and explore the bay. Spend the night on board of the ship.
Day 3 – Bai Tu Long Bay to Hanoi – overnight train to Hue
Early risers can enjoy the sunrise and the breathtaking beauty of Halong Bay. You can visit the surroundings of Vong Vieng fishing village by rowing boat and enjoy the stunning landscape. Meet the locals, visit the floating school and a fish farm. After a last swim in the waters you sail back to port along fascinating rock formations. Back in Hanoi, take the night train to Hue.
Day 4 – Hue
The journey to Hue takes about 10 hours; get transferred to your hotel upon arrival. You have the rest of the day off to recover from the trip. You can also explore the city; for instance with a visit to the royal tombs or the Thien Mu Pagoda.
Day 5 – Hue trip by bicycle taxi, to Hoi An
After breakfast you take a leisurely tour by cyclo, where you visit the Dong Ba market. Then you will be transferred in about 4 hours to your next destination: Hoi An. Along the way you can enjoy the fascinating nature. You make, depending on the time, stops at include the beach of Lang Co, Hai Van Pass, Cham Museum and the Marble Mountains.
Day 6 – Hoi An free day
You have a day off and you can quietly relax from what you have seen so far and have done during this tour Vietnam with children. Further view of the town of Hoi An is definitely worthwhile. The old Tan Ky House, the famous Japanese bridge and stylish Phuc Kien Assembly Hall are the highlights here. You can also take a bike ride to the countryside, where you will visit an organic village and gardens of the local farmers.
Day 7 – Hoi An to Danang, night train to Ho Chi Minh City
After breakfast at the hotel you still have some time to relax before continuing south. Spend the day in Danang before boarding the night train to Ho Chi Minh City. Spend the night in the train.
Day 8 – Ho Chi Minh City
In the early morning you arrive in Ho Chi Minh City, also known as Saigon. You’ll be taken to your hotel and free to spend the rest of the day at your own leisure. If you want to explore the city, the Chinese temple, the Dame Cathedral and the War Museum are certainly worth a visit.
Day 9 – Ho Chi Minh to Ben Tre to Can Tho
In the morning you leave for the Ben Tre Pier. Here you step aboard a boat to explore along the Mỏ Cày River. Along the way you can see the local way of life and activities. Visit a coconut processing workshop where you can enjoy pressed coconut juice and coconut candy. Make a stop on an island where you can enjoy lunch at a local house before continuing your cruise to on Ông Bồng canal and taking a sampan to row along the narrow canals. Continue by road to Can Tho, your home for the night.
Day 10 – Can Tho to Ho Chi Minh City
Visit the bustling floating market of Cai Rang by boat. The first part of today will be spent aboard the boat, followed by a walk on the quiet country roads. Meet the locals and experience a bit of their daily lives. In the afternoon you will travel back to Ho Chi Minh, your home for the night.
Day 11 – Mui Ne
After breakfast you leave Ho Chi Minh behind and travel to the beach side resort of Mui Ne. Spend the last couple of days of your Vietnam adventure soaking in the sun and relaxing by the sea.
Day 12 – Mui Ne
You still have a full day ahead to enjoy the sun and soak in all the impressions of your journey through Vietnam.
Day 13 – Mui Ne to Ho Chi Minh City
Around noon it’s time to check out. You’ll leave Mui Ne and travels back to Ho Chi Minh. Arrive in the afternoon and stock up on last minute souvenirs, or simply relax.
Day 14 – Return home
Your journey through Vietnam comes to an end today. A transfer will be organized from your hotel to the airport, where you will board your flight home.
