Day 01 – Arrival in Amman
Arrival in Amman, the capital of Jordan, followed by transfer to the hotel. Take your time exploring the city, or relax after a long journey.

Day 02 – Amman; excursion Jerash & Ajloun
After breakfast, drive to the north of the country to visit Jerash; one of the best preserved cities of on the eastern frontier of the Roman Empire. Continue to the village of Ajlun to visit its famous fortress up on the hill and to enjoy the magnificent view to the Jordan Valley. Travel back to Amman for your overnight stay.

Day 03 – Amman –  Mt Nebo – Dead Sea – Madaba
Travel today to the deepest point on earth, the Dead Sea; and experience the sensation of floating on sea water. Travel through Mount Nebo, one of the most revered holy sites of Jordan, to the Roman Byzantine town of Madaba – the town where Moses died and was buried. At night, you’ll sleep in a hotel bordering the Dead Sea.

Day 04 – Madaba through Kerak to Dana National Park
Today’s trip will take you through the age-old King’s Highway, past mountains and ravines, to the rugged Dana National Park – home to reptiles, wolfs and even lynx cats. Stop in Karak on the way, a crusader castle from the 12th century. Continue to Dana for an overnight stay in a small-scale traditional hotel.

Day 05 – Dana National Park to Little Petra
Take the morning to explore Dana on your own. Dana is Jordan’s largest nature reserve, covering some 320 square kilometres of spectacular mountains and wadis along the face of the Great Rift Valley. Afternoon transfer to Little Petra for dinner and overnight stay on a Bedouin campsite.

Day 06 – Little Petra – Petra
One of the Seven World Wonders, Petra is a city hidden behind an enormous rock formation. Once upon a time Petra was at the centre of the caravan trade between Egypt and Mesopotamia, but the city fell into decay in the 5th century AD. The houses disappeared and the Bedouins took possession of the empty rock tombs, and Petra was only rediscovered in the 19th century. Relax in the evening in this ancient city.

Day 07 – Petra to Wadi Rum
After breakfast, spend the morning in Petra, or go horseback riding through the breathtaking mountains of Jordan – suitable for both more experienced and beginner riders. After lunch, continue to the Wadi Rum desert, and enjoy its magnificent landscape on a 2 hour jeep-safari. Dinner and overnight stay in a Bedouin style camp (or with a Bedouin family).

Day 08 – Wadi Rum –  Aqaba
Free morning in Wadi Rum, or choose for the option of a camel ride. In the afternoon you will leave for Aqaba, a quaint town on the Red Sea. Here you’ll have a choice of shopping, fishing, windsurfing, swimming, diving, and various other seaside activities.

Day 09 – AQABA
Spend the day enjoying the sights and sounds of Aqaba, or choose for an optional boat trip through the region. Leave from the harbor in search of gorgeous diving spots, and enjoy a barbeque lunch on board.

Day 10 – Aqaba
Another free day to enjoy strolling through Aqaba or snorkeling in the Red Sea.

Day 11 – Aqaba to Amman
Today you will travel back to Amman (approx. 4 hours). You’ll have plenty of time to explore the city in the afternoon, and for instance visit the citadel or the Roman amphitheater. Meet and talk to locals in one of the many hookah bars or patisseries of this bustling city.

Day 12: Departure from Amman / Return home
A transfer service will take you from your hotel to the airport, in plenty of time to catch your flight home.
